Experience and Training Guidelines: Some experience in Windows 10, Microsoft Word and Excel required. ESRI ArcGIS preferred but not required.

Ability to: Perform a variety of technical duties involved in the operation and maintenance of an Enterprise GIS. May require long periods of sitting. Communicate efficiently, performs a wide variety of operations with precision and accuracy; be trained on new skills.
To perform a variety of technical duties involved in the planning and operation of an Enterprise GIS.
These duties include but are not limited to: Personal interaction with other City departments such as Engineering, Water, Sewer, Fire, Police, Recorder, Parks & Rec, Planning, Housing, Business, and Inspections.
Gather tabular data, assess as built drawings, converting all types of data to digital format, data entry.
Coordinate with other staff members in order to complete projects efficiently.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
Receives general supervision from the GIS Staff
Criminal History Background Check: Successful applicant must pass background check.
Education Requirement: Successful applicant MUST submit a copy of their high school diploma, GED, or higher education BEFORE appointment.
Veteran's Preference Points: Applicants must submit a copy of their DD-214 in order to receive veteran's points. This is for initial appointments only.
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): Successful applicant may be required to submit a copy of their current driver's license record (MVR) BEFORE appointment.
Salary Range: $12.00 per hour. Position is not eligible for benefits.
